Tuna Baked Sushi - a budget-friendly version
Since the lockdown, been seing a lot of this food trend so i tried one.
You'll need:
1 can century tuna flakes in oil - drained
1 1/2 - 2 cups of jasmine rice
oil for frying
2 eggs
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup kewpie mayonnaise
1/4 cup sriracha sauce
Calbee wasabi chips - crushed
Eden quickmelt cheese
More kewpie and sricracha for drizzling
Here's how:
Cook rice and set aside
Beat the eggs and fry, then slice into thin strips, set aside.
Cook the century tuna and add the kewpie and sriracha. Set aside
In a separate bowl mix the vinegar, salt and sugar. Mix until dissolved then pour into the rice and mix well.
In a greased pan, evenly lay out the rice, top with the egg strips, top with tuna and wasabi chips, drizzle with kewpie and sriracha and add grated cheese on top.
Bake in 125c for 10-15 mins. Serve with laver. Enjoy!
