Monthly Meeting of Child Development Workers

The program started with an opening prayer, followed by the approval of the previous meeting minutes. Updates and announcements regarding ECCD programs, upcoming activities, and trainings were discussed.

Child Development workers shared updates on enrollment, activities, and challenges encountered in their centers. Key topics such as teaching strategies, child safety, duties and responsibilities, and program implementation were also discussed.

The meeting concluded successfully, highlighting teamwork and commitment in providing quality early childhood care and development.

Day 2
The LGU Arayat Pampanga successfully conducted Moving Up for the S.Y. 2025-2026 at the Glorieta Sports Complex with the theme: “Munting Hakbang Tungo sa Maunlad na Kinabukasan”, celebrating the meaningful milestone of our young learners.

The program formally opened with a vibrant processional march of our honored guests, Child Development Workers (CDWs), completers, and proud parents—setting the tone for a day filled with pride, joy, and gratitude.

One of the most touching highlights of the program was the Recognition Song performed by all the completers, filling the venue with emotion and pride as they expressed their journey, learnings, and dreams through music.

An inspiring highlight of the program was the message of our Guest Speaker, Hon. Mayor Jeffrey M. Luriz who emphasized the vital role of the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Program in shaping the foundation of every child’s future. He also recognized the unwavering dedication of our CDWs, stakeholders, and parents, whose collective efforts nurture and guide our children toward growth and success. His words truly uplifted and inspired everyone present.

The presentation of completers was led by MSWDO, Diana Jean P. Mesa, RSW, and formally confirmed by Hon. Mayor Jeffrey M . Luriz, marking a proud and memorable moment for both the children and their families.

This successful event would not have been possible without the unwavering support and leadership of our local officials. We extend our deepest gratitude to Hon. Mayor Jeffrey M. Luriz and Hon. Vice Mayor Ramon M. Changcoco as well as to SB Members, for their continued commitment to programs that uplift the lives of our children.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to all local functionaries, the Barangay Captains and Councils, and most especially to our dedicated Child Development Workers and our ECCD Focal Person, Rezan A. Miranda, Eccd Staff whose hard work, passion, and dedication made this event truly meaningful and successful.

To our dear completers, congratulations! May you continue to dream, learn, and grow. You are the pride of Arayat and your journey is only just beginning. ✨

March is being observed as Fire Prevention Month here in the Philippines. It was declared by virtue of Proclamation No.115-A, signed by the then President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. to raise awareness about the causes, hazards, and dangers on fire in all ages. The fire prevention month CY 2026 theme is, “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa”. It aims to promote fire safety consciousness among our people specially children every day of the year, with the supervision of our Hon. Mayor Jeffrey M. Luriz, Municipal Fire Marshal FSINSP John Dominic F. Fontillas, Mswdo Diana Jean P. Mesa, Eccd Office and Arayat BFP.
