I admire Malou Perez because she started a non-profit organization called pawssion that started in October 2018 with the goal of helping and rescuing stray and impounded dogs. Moreover, Pawssion Project began in Bacolod. After that first pound rescue, numerous reports poured in one after another, which eventually led to the opening of a second shelter in Bulacan in mid-2019. Over 600 dogs have been successfully rehomed as a result of the journey, which has since carried Pawssion Project to more than 2000 rescues. She first merely wanted to stop the shooting of 50 impounded dogs, but she finally got engaged with an organization that changed her life forever. She realizes that we can change and modify human and animal life, which is why she believes this issue is of the biggest significance. In addition to its emphasis on animals, The Pawssion Project strives to preserve humanity's belief and optimism.

📓: My journey as a reader
READING IS EVERYTHING!
I still remember the day how i became an avid reader when i discover wattpad. I always think that i was lucky enough to be introduced to wattpad world at an early age because I can see that i gained ideas and knowledge about many things. My vocabulary, critical thinking and reading comprehension did improve slowly as i continue reading stories, even though I wasn’t aware of it at first. Everytime i saw a new story recommendations i will choose to stay up all night and do be like finishing them like marathons. Every story that i read leave a lessons, realizations and new knowledge to me that sometimes i apply in real life. Reading new books is like a new journey and putting yourself to someones shoes that makes it more interesting for me.
When I learned to love reading, that's when i also learned to love studying and that's all because of wattpad. I told myself back then that I didn’t like reading, and I actually started to believe it, that I only read books if the school required at that point. But now i can call my self as "a reader who reads as she can" because for the past years i have been reading hundred of stories from online or from the actual book. I also remember, when I became obsessed with books, reading starts to be my sweetest escape from reality. Whenever i am sad or stress reading will be enough to get rid of all the negativities in my mind. All this obsession started because of the first ever story i have read in wattpad that leave a special spot in my heart and eventually made me completely in love with reading and books.

📓: My journey as a reader
I remember when I was 4 years old my mama always taught me how to read Tagalog books but even if I speak Tagalog myself, it is difficult to read even though I can speak it. After teaching me how to read several times, I finally learned how to read. After I learned how to read, my mama enrolled me in Preschool. When I was in school, I learned a lot especially from reading books, and every time I got a high grade, my mama will give me a fairy tales book that’s why I also learned to like to read English books and until now I still continue to read different books and now my favorite book is the crown by Kiera Cass and All the bright places by Jennifer Niven. Reading books taught me a lot of lessons that I can apply in my life and helps me to improve my vocabulary.
