Tagolwanen Women Weavers Association (TWWA), founded in 2012 by Lorielinda Bella Rago Marte and Datu Anilaw Inlantong, revived the dying Tagolwanen sodsod mat-weaving tradition in Mt. Kitanglad, Malaybalay. From a handful of weavers, it grew into a thriving women-led enterprise recognized as the townโ€™s OTOP (One Town, One Product). Supported by local, national, and international partners, TWWA built a weaving heritage center and cultivates sodsod through communal farming. Profits are shared annually among members. The mats, rich in cultural symbolism and inspired by nature, have gained national and international recognition, fostering pride, environmental stewardship, and a new generation of award-winning weavers.
