Mary Rose, the sole owner was a former skin care therapist who enjoys trying new things. In 2019, one of her friends gave her soap as a gift, and she liked it so much, that she began to learn soap-making. With her knowledge as a skincare therapist, and, love for natural ingredients she became motivated to create something beautiful and beneficial. She began by giving her sample to a friend who liked it so much that she started reselling it, which quickly became extremely popular in Africa. In 2021, she decided to return to the Philippines and launch her own business, DAGTA. As part of her passion, she began opening her door to
share her knowledge and teach soap-making classes to help other women be empowered. Then, she started to manufacture her own pili pulp oil while supporting the small-town community in the Bicol region. All along Mary Rose has continued to study online focused on Skin Care Formulation with “Formula Botanica in the UK” and has since qualified as an Organic Skin Care Formulator.
