The Hidden Giants of the Amazon: 2026 Wildlife Internship 🐆🌿

​What does it take to monitor the world’s most elusive species?

At Semillas Life, our Wildlife Conservation Internship puts you on the front lines of tropical research in Codo del Pozuzo, Peru. 🇵🇪✨

​Our camera traps are the "eyes" of the forest, capturing the vital movements of the Pachitea River basin's diverse fauna. In this footage, our team documented:

​Apex Predators: The powerful Panthera onca (Jaguar) and Puma concolor. 🐾

​Keystone Species: Tapirus terrestris (Tapir) and Alouatta seniculus (Howler Monkey). 🐒

​Biodiversity Indicators: Mitu tuberosum (Razor-billed Curassow), Cuniculus paca, Pecari tajacu, Odocoileus virginianus peruvianus, and Dasypus novemcinctus. 🦌🐗
