My goal was to attend the temple at least once a months this whole year (and for the rest of my life lol). I might have missed 2 months but I've learned so much, felt so much peace, and had so much fun taking my family names through from beginning to end ♥️

Something that has also helped me be more excited about going to the temple, (because I mean who hasn't dozed off in an endowment session before 🤦🏼‍♀️), is doing a different ordinance each time I go!

Prayer is a hard thing for me...

I often go many days without praying and I can feel myself distancing from Heavenly Father. The worst part is that the longer I go without praying the less worthy I feel to actually pray. Situations come up where I want to pray but I literally think "How dare I ask for help from God now when I haven't made time for him lately, I don't deserve blessings right now."

Obviously this isn't true but maybe you feel the same way. I have to make the concious decision to still pray and immediately be thankful when I do recieve that blessing.

Praying everyday helps me feel worthy and like I have the power to call upon God's help whenever! We don't earn God's love but we also need to do our part and make an effort to come closer to Him each day ☺️
