Language Heritage

When these languages disappear, they take with them an enormously vast collection of knowledge and wisdom: the hopes, dreams, jokes, riddles, prayers, tales, and history of many peoples of the world. When these languages are lost, a unique window into the mind is closed forever, and we are collectively impoverished as a result. We are aiming for the niché market of heritage language learners, foreign language learners, and academia. We keep a small, high caliber teaching staff and focus on high-end clients. We are marketing to those working in anthropology, ethnography, linguistics, Latin American studies, cultural studies, and NGO employees developing language skills for public service. We are also marketing to all those interested in preserving and revitalizing their heritage language, as well as standard foreign language learners that prefer to study with us based on our philosophy.

5% of our proceeds go to our Canadian partner NGO, Pura Vida Foundation (http://puravidafoundation.ca). We will also solicit and provide scholarships to help heritage language learners that are economically challenged. We also offer a Spanish language immersion program here in Cusco, Perú and the promoting of Fair Trade products from indigenous artisans via online sales.
