Cooperar Perú nació con el objetivo de dar oportunidades a niños que no la tienen, mejorar su calidad de vida en temas de educación y salud. Eduardo Huaynamarca, su fundador, comenzó el proyecto en 2006 como tesis de final de carrera, y en darse cuenta de la gran necesidad de la comunidad de Tankarpata a un soporte constante, decidió dedicarse a ello por completo.
