This is the specialty of this town, local freshwater shrimp dishes. Deep fried shrimp dish and Chupe de camarones (soup). A bit overpriced at 70 soles ($20) a dish, but we had to give it s try.
Wow this waterfall was definitely worth the effort... felt like a totally different climate at the waterfall than the dry hike as it was shaded and moist.
