The International Energy Agency (IEA) says global oil demand to plummet to a record low since the Covid-19 pandemic, on the basis of a quarter.
Demand is said to have a chance of a drop by 1.5 million barrels per day between April and June, IEA says.

Eng. Ahmed Rashid Al Abri, Director of the Agricultural Development Department at the General Directorate of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Dhahirah in Oman, pointed out that more than 50 projects have been made in the Governorate regarding agricultural enhancement. Total investment figure would be approximately OMR 50 million across 9,000 acres of land.
Oman continuously makes efforts for food security and agricultural development, which also in turn contributes to Oman Vision 2040. This is one such milestone that proves each and every area in Oman is striving towards its goals.

Muscat Municipality has announced a closure on a service lane belonging to Al Khuwair from April 9th-11th.
The closure will begin partially and then be a full shutdown on the 11th of April, only for the same day, as per the authorities.

Ministry of Education of Oman has declared remote learning, following an information from National Emergency Management Centre. This will be effective for Wednesday, April 01 in both private and government educational institutions.
