Our stories have the power to impact the world. I met Michelle who took me over to watch the woman of the village roast cocoa beans over a fire. After the roast, they grounded the cocoa until it was a paste , then mixed it with hot water. The taste alone told me the story and the love Samoan people have towards the land and their craft. Also on this trip I met up who introduced me to a few other talented local storytellers. Thank you for the trip and memories, I hope to do this story proud.
