Nirvan

Strange to think 7-9 million years ago the badlands area was actually surrounded by water, Now after years and years of sea levels dropping this island has now emerged. Since then heavy rainfall has washed away the soft sediment from around the cemented silt/rock forming these incredible dagger like spines. One to add to your list when visiting the North Island for sure!
