Congratulations to our Wellington Branch Manager Paul Fincham for winning the MITO Ia Ara Aotearoa Transporting New Zealand Outstanding Contribution to Training Award 🥳

Paul has almost 30 years’ experience in the transport industry, including seven years with KAM Transport. He is passionate about developing people and sharing his extensive industry knowledge with both new and experienced staff.

One of the biggest contributions he has made is retaining smaller trucks in his fleet, giving employment opportunities to people as they progress through to their Class 5 licences. He has also supported multiple employees through formal industry training programmes, including Commercial Road Transport micro-credentials, Heavy Vehicle Operator Level 3 qualifications, and ongoing licence progression pathways. Without this pathway and his support, access to employment and advancement within the industry would have been significantly more challenging.

And let's not forget his Wall of Legends - a wall displaying his staff members' long service certificates, and an initiative that has now been rolled out to all our KAM branches.

I guess this is why he has been nominated for Transporting New Zealand's Outstanding Contribution to Training Award 🏆

Stu is Blenheim's Branch Manager celebrating 8 years at KAM. Another one that's up for a good laugh, Stu is there early in the morning until late in the evening, helping customers, steering the ship, and never shy to jump on a forklift or in a truck to help his team 🚛

We're looking for the next member of our KAM Fam to take charge of our daily meat run deliveries to butchers and supermarkets across the Wellington region, Wairarapa & Palmerston North.

We’re after a reliable, physically fit Class 4 driver able to deliver cartons of meat and hanging carcasses. You'll drive the same Class 4 truck with rails each day, working Mon - Fri from 1am until finish, approx midday to 2pm depending on the day. Saturday work optional if you want the extra hours!
