There's a reason aluminium balustrades are showing up on a lot of new builds around Otago right now.

They hold up in the conditions here - the wind, the UV, the temperature swings. The finish doesn't fade or corrode. And the clean lines suit the dark timber and schist aesthetic that defines so much of the architecture around here at the moment.
