Multicultural Rotorua provides an opportunity for people from all segments of our diverse society to address the challenges facing our multicultural communities in the 21st century. The Rotorua Multicultural Council was established in 1996. Registered as a charitable entity under the Charities Act, CC39743. Our vision is Unity in Diversity. Membership fee: Group $60, Family $25, Individual $15.

Congratulations to the new New Zealand citizens. It is a long road from the day you arrive in Rotorua to the day when you officially become New Zealanders.
Congratulations to the migrants who celebrated becoming New Zealand citizens today. They had come from China, England, France, India, Kiribati, the Philippines, Scotland, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America, plus a few young ones who were born in New Zealand.
Thank you to the kapa haka team from Kawaha Point School who welcomed the new Kiwis with waiata and a haka.
