Proud to support local volunteer ranger Hinepehia and her Trap-a-thon on Karioi Maunga.

What started as a goal of resetting 80 traps in a single day turned into an incredible achievement of 97 traps completed while raising funds for her upcoming Outward Bound trip.

It's inspiring to see young people giving their time, energy, and passion to protecting and restoring our native ngahere while making a positive impact in the Raglan community.

Congratulations on an amazing effort, Hinepehia, and thank you for the work you do on Karioi Maunga. 🌿👏

She is still raising money for her outward bound trip - follow the link below to help her out

A little note from Dr Hannah 🌊

From 11th–29th June, I'll be heading back to the UK to spend some time with family and friends. It's been over a year since I made the move to New Zealand, so I'm looking forward to catching up with some familiar faces.

The clinic will be taking a short break while I'm away, with normal hours resuming from Monday 29th June.

If you'd like to get something booked in for when I return, online booking remains open as usual.

Thank you for all your support of Raglan Rise Chiropractic. I can't wait to get back to the clinic and continue helping the Raglan community stay active and moving well.

See you soon,

Dr Hannah

When people think about health, they often think about what to do when something goes wrong.

For me, it's about the things I do consistently before that point.

Running, strength training, getting outside, staying active, and making time for recovery are all things I prioritise outside the clinic. Not because I'm injured or in pain, but because I want to keep doing the things I enjoy for as long as possible.

Your health is built by the habits you repeat every week, not just the decisions you make when something hurts.

“I pulled a muscle just by sleeping…”

Have you said that recently? Or heard yourself saying:

🙃 “I’m always stiff”
🤔 “Everything aches when I get up”
🫪 “I can’t move like I used to”
🫠 “I pulled a muscle just by sleeping”

A lot of people put up with it for months (or years) thinking it’s just getting older… until they realise they don’t actually have to.

There are a few spots remaining for new patients Monday & Tuesday at Raglan Rise Chiropractic 🌊

Message me or book online if your body has been trying to tell you something 👋.. or tag your partner/friend who's been saying this to you

⚠️ Pain is rarely the first sign that something is going on.

Often people notice stiffness, tightness, reduced movement, or feeling like something just doesn't feel quite right long before pain appears.

And just because pain settles down doesn't mean your body is functioning at its best again.

The goal isn't just to feel better — it's to move better, function better, and keep doing the things you enjoy.

Here's an interesting thing I have noticed over my years as a chiropractor...

Most people service their car more than they service their body

You’ll get your car checked before it breaks down, you'll change the oil, you'll get new tyres 🚗

But many people wait until pain stops them from doing what they love before paying attention to their health. The body is a biological machine, and also needs your care and attention - preferably before it all falls apart!

Raglan Rise Chiropractic isn’t a big clinic with multiple rooms and a huge team — it’s my small, humble practice built from the ground up.

A place where people can walk in, be listened to, take a breath, and receive high quality care that’s personalised to their goals.

I feel very lucky to be doing what I love in a place like Raglan, and to meet so many great people along the way.

Your body is constantly adapting to what you do most.

Long hours sitting, one-sided sports, scrolling on your phone…

Over time, your movement patterns change — often without you noticing.

What starts as “just a bit tight” can slowly become stiffness, compensation, reduced mobility, or recurring discomfort.

That’s why in clinic we don’t just look at where something hurts — we look at how your whole body is moving and functioning.

Chiropractic helps assess how your body has adapted… and whether those adaptations are helping you or holding you back.

The goal?
To help you move better, feel better, and keep doing the things you love 🙌

Are you ignoring your body’s warning signs? 🚨

Or just quietening them down…
taking painkillers 💊 and moving less because it hurts? 😩

Or do you get curious… and figure out why it’s happening 💭, address the cause, and get back to doing what you love? 🏃‍♀️🏋🏼

At Raglan Rise Chiropractic, the goal isn’t just to “turn the alarm off” — it’s to understand what’s setting it off in the first place.

From there, we can help you move better, feel better, and get back to living properly. 🙌

If something’s been niggling, or you just want some honest advice — feel free to reach out.
