Supporting the Next Generation of Tradespeople in South Auckland

At GGE, we’re proud to support Papakura High School’s welding programme through the donation of steel, helping students gain valuable hands-on experience and develop practical welding and fabrication skills.

We recently received a message of thanks from the school, noting that access to quality steel makes a significant difference in helping students complete their projects and build confidence in their trade skills.

We value our relationship with Papakura High School and are pleased to support their students and teachers as they build the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

Supporting local education and skills development is something we’re passionate about, and we look forward to helping where we can.

George Grant Engineering was founded in 1990 by Bob and Cheryl DeLacey as a true family business. Under the stewardship of siblings Scott, Cameron and Sharne, GGE grew its fabrication capabilities and built the strong team that earned our reputation in the steel fabrication and construction industry.

GGE continues to thrive under the leadership of our current directors, who are committed to building a brighter future guided by the values of honesty, integrity, pride, innovation and growth.
