• Almost all wildfires are caused by human activity, so outdoor fires are banned across most of our district and restricted everywhere else.
• Two of the fires this week were caused by grinders so we're asking everyone to stop using machinery that creates sparks while conditions are so dry. This includes grinders, welders and even lawnmowers - if the blade hits a stone, it can cause a spark.
