Biorich accept our greenwaste, and generously provide a load of compost every year for our gardens - which Everfresh Transport kindly deliver!

We are super grateful for their ongoing support which makes a huge difference.

At St Georges Restaurant, compost is part of a much bigger system.With a kitchen garden just metres from the restaurant, much of what's served is grown on-site, harvested at its peak, and brought straight into the kitchen. It's a model built around seasonality, care, and a direct connection between soil and plate.

Behind the scenes, St Georges Restaurant operates a closed-loop system, returning kitchen and dining waste to the soil to support future crops.

Alongside their own composting practices, BioRich forms part of the wider system, contributing to soil health and overall consistency. As part of Compost Awareness Week, we're proud to share stories like this - where compost plays a role in how food is grown, prepared, and experienced.
