City Collision Repairs

Another awesome car out the door today , this custom VW beetle was first painted by CCR about 17 years ago, the colour was a custom colour formulated in a solvent basecoat by a former employee Tony O Connor , he created a deep red almost candy looking colour which is awesome.

Our challenge this time after someone damaged the bonnet was to repair and paint the bonnet , but we had to butt match the colour as if we blended it would mean re clearing the whole car.

Now we use waterbase colour it was also challenging to match, but all the guys combined all of thier experience to get the perfect match!

I'm not going to say how many hours went into making the colour but it was the longest part of the entire job and sadly one we don't normally get paid for.

The result though is a happy customer and the car looking great again !

Another cool job done by the guys at CCR , Around 2 weeks ago we fitted a towbar from EV Stealth Solutions to a zeekr 7x.

It's the first one we have seen in the flesh and they are very cool!

Fairly simple fitment with a plug and play wiring harness .
