I'm Chef Peter, and I'm happy to share with you some photos and highlights from the master class👨🏻‍🍳 I conducted for children at the Napier Community Centre yesterday. We had a blast learning how to make Sushi 🍥Norimaki (nori rolls), one of the most popular and delicious dishes from Japan

Norimaki is a traditional Japanese cuisine that consists of cooked vinegared rice and various toppings, such as fish, cooked seafood, vegetables, eggs, and even fruits.👌

The children😃 were very eager and enthusiastic to learn how to make Norimaki. They followed my instructions carefully and attentively, and they showed great skills in preparing their own Norimaki. They learned how to cut the ingredients, and how to shape and roll the Norimaki.

They also learned some interesting🕵🏻‍♂️ facts and 👨🏻‍💻tips about Norimaki, such as the origin and meaning of the word, the etiquette and customs of eating Norimaki, the health benefits and risks of Norimaki, and the best ways to store and serve Norimaki.

We had a lot of fun making and tasting 🍴our own Norimaki creations. They were tasty, and nutritious.
The children were very proud🦚 of their work. I want to thank them for joining me, and I hope they will continue to enjoy and explore the wonderful world of Norimaki with their parents. 🤠
