🤜2026 CareVets Scholarship Shootout 2026🤛

Big day at Hampton Downs on Wednesday with 8 finalists for the CareVets Scholarship Shootout.
First of all I would like to thank everyone involved to make this day happen, Keith at CareVets, Amanda Tollemache, Nico Caillol at TOYOTA GAZOO Racing New Zealand, Crème Insurance, our driver trainer Tom Alexander and SkunkWorks🤩

Our day was made up of fitness, driving and interviews. Starting off with a run around the track and onto the Watt bike, then we jumped in the TR86 with Tom for some laps in the car. It was definitely fun driving for the 15 minutes doing hot-laps in the Toyota 86 and learning a new race car.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this shootout, I learnt a lot, it was a really cool experience for me especially being the youngest of the 8 contestants.

Well done to Taylor Mitchell for the win and good luck on your new journey!!
