The result of months of dedicated work by our TW Property and Construction teams: a stunning, purpose-built facility for ASX-listed Vulcan Steel.

This impressive high-stud warehouse, complete with a gantry crane and modern office space, will support Vulcan Steel’s national operations in distributing steel and other metals across Hawke’s Bay.

Our team managed every stage of the development from land acquisition and leasing to design, consenting, and project management, with our team delivering a high-quality build using low carbon concrete and locally sourced materials.

The Vulcan Steel team is now fully settled in and enjoying their new space!

We officially marked the start of construction on the brand-new Woolworths supermarket this morning, joined by Hastings District Council - Te Kaunihera ā-Rohe o Heretaunga Councillors, mana whenua, and members of the Flaxmere community.

With the first stage of building consent issued and the lease agreement with Woolworths confirmed, we are excited to begin earthworks and foundation preparations from Monday.

A lot has been happening behind the scenes to get us to this point, and with completion expected by mid-2026, we can’t wait to bring Flaxmere its long-awaited supermarket—offering more retail choices and creating local job opportunities.
