Congratulations on proudly carrying the name of Aliepata at the Marist 7s and representing BluNet's internet, WiFi, and technology services with pride.

A special acknowledgement to Head Coach Togia Alefaio Vaisuai, management, and the entire squad. While the results may not always tell the full story, what stood out was the heart, courage, and determination shown by a very young team. Many of these players are still in college or have only recently left school, yet they stepped onto the field against seasoned and physically developed teams from Samoa and Fiji.

That takes courage.

Every successful rugby journey starts somewhere, and for many of these young men, this tournament was their first taste of top-level competition. There is no better way to learn than being thrown straight into the fire and testing yourselves against the best.

Keep your heads high. The experience gained this weekend will be invaluable for the seasons ahead. This is not the end of the journey, it is only the beginning.

A couple of weeks ago, we had Daniella Belford on one of our platforms — and her story stayed with us.

At just 16, this young golfer from Papakura, South Auckland is already achieving at a high level and now preparing for her journey to Scotland. But beyond the achievements, there’s something deeper — Daniella is autistic, and that part of her journey deserves just as much attention.

At Bluwave, this is why we do what we do.

We highlight what many don’t see.
And for us — Autism is close to home.

This next phase is about going deeper.

We’re not just supporting Daniella’s journey in golf — we’re looking to dive further into what it means to live with autism, to share real stories, real experiences, and bring greater understanding to our community.

We’ll be continuing filming, building her story, and using our platforms that reach millions every month to help shine a light where it matters most.

This is bigger than sport.
