The Condor story

Condor began in 1983 in the spare parts department of Cashmore Machinery. Product lines included hydraulic hose and fittings, spraying equipment and pressure washers. In 2003 Condor Pumps moved to a larger warehouse at Petone in Wellington, New Zealand

Condor products are distributed exclusively by Condor Pumps. Condor Pumps is now an international provider of a wide range of pumps and fluid power equipment. Today Condor Pumps is a Jadco Ltd company.

Winter is here, is your site prepped?

Wet ground doesn't just slow you down, it can shut a site down completely. Rising groundwater, surface flooding, and muddy access routes are some of the biggest causes of winter project delays across NZ construction sites.

Here's what we'd recommend getting sorted before things get worse:

✅ Dewatering & wellpointing: keep excavations and trenches dry so work can continue safely
✅ Water treatment: manage sediment-laden runoff before it reaches stormwater or waterways
✅ Wheel wash systems: stop mud and sediment being tracked off-site on vehicle tyres
✅ Pumps on standby: for fast response if conditions change quickly

The earlier these are in place, the less likely you are to be scrambling once the ground turns to mud.

Got a project running through winter? Give us a call, we'd love to help you plan ahead.

Condor is proud to be part of one of NZ's biggest infrastructure projects right now - Ōtaki to North of Levin: Te Pae o Tararua! 🚧

This 24km, four-lane expressway along State Highway 1 is going to transform safety and resilience for the Horowhenua District and the lower North Island - a genuinely generational piece of roading infrastructure.

We're on site, keeping things moving with:
💧 Pumps: dewatering across the full corridor
💧 Condor XXL Water Treatment Systems: treating groundwater and site runoff before discharge
💧 Water Carts: dust suppression across the active construction zone

From dewatering to dust, it's about making sure a project this size leaves as light a footprint as possible. Proud to be playing our part!
