Last week I was invited by the CEO of ACE (Adult and Community Education) Aotearoa, Hannah Pia Baral to cover social media at the ACE Conference and ACE Aotearoa Annual Awards.

Held at Te Papa in Te Whanganui-a-tara, Wellington, their conference theme was ‘Tuia te kōrero, Whiria te Tangata, What is the Story?’

Keynote speakers included Roimata Smail, from Maurea Consulting, who presented Our story – Te Tiriti, and Andrew Chen from Koi Tū: The Centre for Informed Futures who presented: Down the Rabbit Hole – What is misinformation and how to tackle it.

It was a wonderful experience capturing tons of photos, videos and posting on social media, hearing everyone’s stories, and experiencing a conference filled with very passionate, talented, and creative managers, educators, advisors, board members and staff
