Methven to Geraldine. Our theory with the 7 day format is that Day 3 be a short day. Never quite works out but we gave it a good nudge today and some of us spent time late in the afternoon at the military museum in Geraldine.
So a varied day that has gone pretty well.

Day 2 of the Big Sky. Omarama to Cromwell.
Big everything day.
Big mountains.
Big Rocks
Big change of weather and temperature.
Big stop for big trucks.
Did I mention the big rocks. DOC tracks are a big mess.
But with the weather getting much better as the day went on (not hard) and the diversity of what we saw along the way I consider we have had a good day.
Big shout out once again to the Omarama School fundraising group for the beautiful much appreciated lunches.
