This wonderful support reflects Eden Principle #6: meaningful activity, purpose and connection. It also brings to life Eden Principle #5, where spontaneity and variety add joy, energy and shared celebration to daily life. When residents take part, contribute, and celebrate together, community comes alive. 💚

Here at HBH, we are fortunate to have our very own resident feline friend — meet Rocco! 😺

Rocco is a healthy and handsome black-and-white tuxedo cat who has won the hearts of residents, staff, and even visitors. Whether he's quietly patrolling the hallways, seeking out sunny spots for an afternoon nap, or stopping by for a gentle cuddle, Rocco has a special way of brightening everyone's day.

Recently, he was spotted accompanying Kay from Sale Community as she made her way to the gym for her regular exercise session. Never one to miss an important appointment, Rocco happily walked alongside her, offering companionship, comfort, and perhaps a little encouragement along the way. 🥰

These simple yet meaningful moments remind us about the power of connection. Rocco's friendship is a wonderful example of our Eden Principle #3: Loving Companionship, which recognises that every elder deserves easy access to meaningful human and animal companionship.

Because sometimes, the smallest paws leave the biggest footprints on our hearts. 🐾💚
