Cans for a cause!
Food Can Do is running a Food Drive right here in the village, and we would love to see Howick come together for it.
📍 87A Picton Street, Howick (outside Jetts Gym)
🗓️ This Saturday 25th July, 8am to 11am
They're collecting non-expired, non-perishable canned goods like fish, fruit, vegetables, spaghetti, beans, and soups. Every can you bring is an entry into the raffle, with prizes from Bakers Delight, Monterey Cinemas, SwimGym, Louis & Max, and Wild Wheat up for grabs.
All donations go straight to Auckland City Mission. Grab a can (or ten) from the cupboard and swing by on Saturday morning, it's a small thing that makes a real difference.

🕷️ Who was brave enough to hold a creepy crawly?
🐍 Who met some amazing creatures up close?
🌱 Who discovered new ways to care for our environment?
There was something for everyone—hands-on experiences, fascinating displays, family fun, live entertainment, and so much to learn.
All happening right here in Howick Village, alongside our vibrant Saturday Market.
Our Events Manager, Jane, summed it up perfectly:
"Best ever!"
The response was incredible. It was so popular that we eventually had to stop people joining the queue—even after the market had closed!
A huge thank you to all of our amazing exhibitors, volunteers, performers and visitors who made Eco Day 2026 such a wonderful community event.

We have Burger Wisconsin right here in Howick Village. That's a very reasonable price to keep the kids happy and fed during the holidays. Treat them and give yourself a night off.
