Dr Hassan's expertise lies in experimental and behavioural economics, macroeconomic and mathematical modelling, development macroeconomics and finance, energy, sustainable development goals (SDGs), time series forecasting and panel data methods, with a proven track record in supervising academic research and contributing to impactful projects globally. He has teaching experience in five countries, including Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates and research experience in multiple developing countries, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
