We have chosen the renovation market because we are passionate about saving older homes and bringing them back into the modern era. You will see some pictures of my own home that will give an indication of the quality of workmanship we can offer. We can balance the old and contemporary by keeping the period features of the home and then offering a modern twist by building a new extension giving the home indoor outdoor flow and creating a real wow factor.
Keeping the structure dry is the most important consideration in any renovation involving the removal of roofing or cladding — be it a home or a larger commercial project.
On jobs of this scale, scaffolding and shrink wrap allow us to create a protected, weather-resistant work environment so the team can stay focused on the renovation process from start to finish.
That’s not to say our boys won’t tough it out from time to time — But when a project is wrapped like this, it means we’re not constantly working around the weather. The timber framing, insulation and interior linings are protected, the site stays drier, and the team can keep moving with the work that matters.
For this project, we’ve partnered with Edgeworx Scaffolding and A1 Wrap. Edgeworx has been part of our projects for around 13 years now, and A1 Wrap takes care of our projects that require shrink wrap.
And when the wrap comes down, it doesn’t just get thrown away — it’s recycled ♻️ after every job 👌

Behind the scenes on this renovation, there’s a lot happening before the finished result comes together.
From framing and insulation through to steelwork, services, prep work and concrete, each step plays an important role in creating a stronger, safer and more functional space.
These are the stages most people don’t see, but they’re the ones that make all the difference.

𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 — 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗮
What began as a re‑roof quickly became something much bigger.
When our roofing team flagged that the existing roof needed re‑pitching, John decided it was the right time to move forward with a renovation he’d been considering for some time.
We worked alongside him on the design and build, ensuring every change complemented the style and character of the home while giving it a completely refreshed feel.
The scope included:
• Re‑pitching the roof
• New thermally broken joinery
• New bathrooms
• New balconies
• Full internal redecoration
For a project of this scale, a fully wrapped scaffold was essential — protecting the build and allowing our team to work safely and efficiently through all stages.
The result is a home that feels cohesive, modern and built to last.
