MASSIVE day for us yesterday. Had the most tremendous day with Stacey Hayward's company and many many others working teaching them the OPEN flames communication system, lightbulbs, laughter and learning. Half way through we stopped and put the rowing on the big screen, because Max was rowing in the Final of the intermediate eights at the national rowing champs. 39 - yes 39 years ago, I'd rowed in that same final at lake Ruataniwha and we'd gotten 4th. Max and his crew got a silver. So incredibly proud, and not embarrassed at all about having a private wee weep at my course when no-one was looking.
