Tanning myths busted!

Q. Should I just use warm water and not a hot shower to avoid the tan coming off?
A. NO! This is a complete myth - the tan is fully developed on your skin and there is no washing it off no matter how hot the shower is. We actually recommend you use a non exfoliating body wash or soap to really make sure all the bronzer is off your skin and you jump out of the shower nice and even - if you find you are patchy or have streaks likelihood is that you havnt been washing off the bronzer properly after your first shower because of this myth that was created!

Q. Should I just pat myself dry and not rub?
A. You can dry yourself as normal - have you ever tanned yourself and accidentally got tan in a place you didnt want it ie palms of your hands? How hard is it no matter how hard you rub to get that tan off? Yep same deal, once the tan is developed no amount of rubbing with a towel will get it off.

Q. I sweat a lot as I go to the gym do I need a special tan?
A. No. This is a marketing trick to try and get you to buy a more expensive tan - when you naturally exfoliate your tan comes off with it - the only way to pro-long a tan is to moisturise your skin AFTER your tan.

Q. I dont want to go orange is that to do with the base of the tan?
A. No this is to do with using the wrong solution on your skin type. If you use a solution that is too dark for your natural skin tone and you leave it on for too long this can produce an "orange effect" You will not get this at any of our tanning salon as we have perfected this over 8 years.
