Progressive Tuition caters for children who need support in their learning or who would like to be extended in reading, writing and maths. At Progressive Tuition your child will experience learning as a positive activity tailored to their specific needs. The sessions are varied and interesting with a mixture of targeted teaching, practice and hands-on activities.

Structured literacy!! I'm pleased the education sector has realised there is a place for deliberate teaching of phonics! However, there is still a place for the 'whole language' approach I believe, especially if we want children to read interesting books! There's a limit to what you can do with stories based solely on phonics!
Another year of tutoring has come to an end. Thank you to all the wonderful students who have worked diligently and enthusiastically! It's been a privilege to work with you! Sadly I have to say goodbye to those maths students who have reached the end of Year 6. I wish you all the best for Intermediate School!!
