Lands Edge

Took this last week. Not the shot I had hoped for as the first shot would have been better.

Had a fun sunset evening shoot at Karakariki Falls. Even got to play model for my fellow photographer . (Although I prefer being behind the camera rather than the subject)

As we walked back in the dark to the carpark the moon was this big yellow light in the sky. It was amazing. Got my camera out and by the time I had everything set up, the only cloud in the sky was like photobomb...

As it was late and we didn't know how long we would be standing there or if the moon was going to show again---we left for home.

When I arrived home- yes the clouds were all gone but so was that golden colour.

No worries I still had fun and remembered the bug spray. Was lovely not being eaten alive.

Star trails or milky way? either way I love astrophotography. Get ready winter, because I'm ready for your cold nights with the stars to keep me company.
