How cool is this piece!

Some artwork created a while ago as an urgent addition for Fonterras new offices in Hamilton.

The boards are White Oak veneer with an eco friendly water based satin clear coat.
The black shapes are 3mm Laser cut matte faced acrylic.

Altogether over 3500 pieces laid out and affixed by hand.
The guys had to be super accurate laying each piece, as having 1 piece out by a tiny amount at the beginning would have meant being miles out at the other end.
Turns out they did an incredible job, when finished and measured they were less than 1mm out over the full 6m length!

Super thankful to our skilled signwriters who pulled out all the stops on this to have it finished and installed in less than 3 days.

We recently had the opportunity to create these bespoke signs for Waikato District Council and the Port Waikato community.

Our fabricators love projects like these as it tests their skills and gives them a chance to play around with some of the cooler machines we have in the shop.
