Our experienced facilitators and illustrators use visual planning tools to get you thinking about your goals, then hand-draw them on large sh
eets of paper as you watch. The process is very engaging. People feel comfortable sharing their ideas. Visual plans are much more memorable than written plans, especially when pinned to the bedroom or boardroom wall. Because everyone has different skills and opportunities, some people need a little extra help to reach their goals. Interactionz provides a mentoring service to help them live their chosen best life. Having a plan to follow helps us provide the support they want. We constantly evolve and innovate to support people on their self-development or team journey. Our vision is: Everyone is important. We help individuals to participate in, and contribute to, their communities—to lead their best lives doing everyday things within the community. We use a principle approach that gives people choice and dignity. This method of community building is so effective, we share our philosophy and practice by training like-minded community organisations to use the planning tools we use, making a wider impact, faster. Interactionz is a charity which began in 1967 to support disabled people. We now work with ACC clients, corporates, community organisations, school leavers, career changers, the one in four New Zealanders who identify as disabled . . . or anyone with a need.
