ACIM is truly a therapeutic book. A way to make the meaning of a problem the focus of healing, and avoid the ego trap of trying to "solve the problem" I have been a doctor and addiction therapist for 40yrs and the money wasted particularly in addiction to get to "root of the problem" is enormous. The ego will pursue anything to avoid the sufferer seeing the REAL problem, and the results are dismal.
The real problem the ego is so afraid of and will do anything to hide from me is I AM LOVED. The ego will use any form of spirituality (or therapy). or even ACIM itself to maintain its existence as long as we keep the ego's greatest fear hidden, for ever, or until God back's off defeated and say's "OK my man -- go autonomous / Now you can be god"

Our mindset and perspective play a significant role in shaping our experiences and perceptions. The thoughts we choose to focus on can greatly influence how we interpret events, the actions we take, and the overall quality of our lives.

By consciously choosing which thoughts to keep, we have the power to shape our reality. We can cultivate positive and empowering thoughts that contribute to our growth, happiness, and success. This doesn't mean that we ignore or avoid challenging or negative situations, but rather, we choose to respond to them from a more constructive and optimistic standpoint.

It's essential to practice mindfulness and self-awareness to understand our thought patterns and consciously shift any negative or limiting beliefs. By challenging and replacing negative thoughts with more positive and empowering ones, we create a more supportive and conducive mental environment.

Changing our thoughts requires consistent effort and practice. It involves recognizing the thoughts that no longer serve us, questioning their validity, and intentionally redirecting our thinking towards more positive alternatives. This can include affirmations, visualization, gratitude practice, or seeking support from therapists or coaches.

Choosing to keep thoughts that are empowering, supportive, and aligned with our goals and values can have a profound impact on our perception of the world and our ability to create the life we desire. It allows us to approach challenges with a growth mindset, seek opportunities, and cultivate resilience. Ultimately, our thoughts have the power to shape our reality, and consciously choosing which thoughts to keep can significantly enhance our well-being and achievements.

I completely agree with the statement "if you are not making progress, change one thing." Sometimes, when we find ourselves in a stagnant or unproductive state, a change is necessary to break through the barriers and move forward. This principle can be applied to various aspects of life, whether it's personal goals, relationships, or professional endeavors.

By changing just one thing, it shifts the dynamic and can lead to new insights, perspectives, and opportunities. It's important to evaluate what might be holding us back or hindering our progress. It could be our mindset, our approach, our environment, or even the people we surround ourselves with.

Changing one thing doesn't mean making drastic or impulsive decisions, but rather making deliberate and thoughtful modifications.
