Check this shot taken on a Note 20 Ultra! Zoomed in 5x (100mm)! Didn't think I'd be using the zoom lens as much as I do😍

This was probably one of my favorite spots the whole trip! This is Haast; a small town located on the west coast of the South Island. Haast is cool cause it's a really small chilled town in the middle of everything, even though it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. Only a few hours drive away from Queenstown via the beautiful drive along Haast pass.
The cool thing about Haast is that there are huge, snow capped mountains to one side of you, and a beach to the other! The beach reminds me alot of the beaches we had on the south coast of KZN, because of the drastic decline from the sand to the sea. The shorebreak was really strong despite the fact that the weather was calm. Definitely a good spot for body boarders, just don't forget a wet suit!
The other thing I really liked about Haast is how peaceful it is at night. These shots were taken within a 100 meter radius from my chalet. There is very little light pollution, so if your a photographer looking to get some astro photos, definitely add Haast to your places to go🤙🏼🇳🇿

Look, I'm standing next to NZs biggest mountain... and it's only a little bit taller than me 🤔...
