It’s all hands on deck to design and deliver the electrical requirements for the protein processing plant, including:

The new 16MW substation is still in development, with less than 12 months to go.

The team at Hennessy is gearing up for the final stretch to bring the largest protein processing plant in Australasia ready for their 24 hour, 6 days a week operation, capable of delivering high-quality, fresh products for the international market.

Our engineering and automation team recently transitioned to using EPLAN - a world leading software solution that connects every stage of the engineering process together, from pre-planning to project planning to design.

EPLAN enables us to produce cleaner, more detailed drawings and reports in a fraction of the time, improving efficiency and accuracy 🎯

Using EPLAN, our designers can prioritise designing, with EPLAN handling the task of translating those designs into comprehensive drawings.

For our clients, this transition means projects are executed with more precision and speed, ensuring a consistently high-quality result.

We’re proud to work alongside Waitoa Industrial Estate, using our experience and capabilities to help them streamline and optimise their operations.

Check out our latest project - designing and implementing a user-friendly, site wide control system for the entire wastewater treatment plant.

We’re especially proud of the process alarm notification system - this system immediately alerts operators about areas of concern and gives them the ability to tap in remotely to isolate and address critical issues.

The fully customised system features an automatic Dissolved Air Floatation (DAF) plant, four new treatment lagoons with integrated aerators and mixers, an automated Bio-Solids removal plant, variable speed drives, PLC equipment, and a 3200amp MCC/Switchboard that integrates with existing systems.

This scalable system can grow as Waitoa’s demand grows, helping prepare Waitoa Industrial Estate for a solid future.
