Thank you to the lovely people who worked here and made it a howff. Thank you to the musicians, artists, and performers who played, danced, laughed, and sang here. Dunedin has an unusually high proportion of great musicians and wonderful characters. It's been good to have been a part of it for a while.

You might have noticed the redecoration of Bark! with a car through the wall. Well, it’s gone (we hope the woman is okay and that the bloke's ankle really hurts), and a new wall has gone up, and there was a massive hole in the floor, but that’s now sorted. This is great because the insurance isn’t going to fork out for loss of business.
TLDR; No jokes this year. The Dog is open and Bark! is back and open just in time for us to enjoy one last night of merriment at the Dog. Please come down to buy a drink, remember good times, listen to a great lineup of bands from 4pm, and spin a yarn or two with some mates.
Arohanui!

Against all odds we will be back for our last hurrah!
We’ve had amazing team of builders that helped us today and yesterday to secure our bar and make it safe for us to party!
So with only some minor adjustments (and a bit more plywood) everything will go ahead as planned!

Important things to remember!!
• There will be a lot of people wanting to farewell the Dog so please be patient and understanding with other customers and the staff!
• As this is our last day of trading we will be trying to clear some of our stock, which means we may run out of your usual but please support us by trying something new!
• As much as we can’t wait to celebrate with you all, please bear in mind it is also our last day working at the Dog With Two Tails. We’ve had an overwhelming couple of days and it will be a very long night for the team, so please be kind to us and understand we may be a little sad 😓
• Last but not least - HAVE A HECKIN GOOD TIME! 🐾

Hosted by Australia's princes of PowerPoint, Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh, this cult classic makes its way to New Zealand after sell-out seasons at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Fringe and a monthly residency at Comedy Republic.

A wild late-night showcase with a rotating line-up of Kiwi and international comedians putting the ‘show’ back into show-and-tell! A picture says a thousand words, and with more slides than Splash Planet, The Late Nite PowerPoint Comedy Showcase offers more words per dollar than any other show in the Fringe.

It’s easy to follow along with after a few drinks and it’s begging for technical difficulties, so grab your family, friends and anyone else who has endured boring work presentations or tedious uni slides as we all heal together.

This one-night-only Dunedin Fringe special will feature special guests Eli Matthewson, James Mustapic, Harriet Moir, Tama Alexander and Nicola Brown. It's not to be missed!
