βœ… DO:

βœ” Rest – Avoid using the injured area to prevent further damage.

βœ” Ice – Apply ice (wrapped in a cloth) for 15-20 minutes every few hours to reduce swelling.

βœ” Compression – Use a bandage or wrap to support the injury.

βœ” Elevation – Raise the injured area above heart level to minimize swelling.

❌ DON’T:

βœ– Keep playing – this can worsen the injury.

βœ– Apply heat – it can increase swelling in the first 48 hours.

βœ– Wrap too tightly – it may cut off circulation.

βœ– Ignore severe pain – seek medical attention for fractures or serious injuries.

βœ– Delay treatment – early care speeds up recovery!
