Looking for something to do over the school holidays? Why not get outside and start preparing for the Tahuna Cross Country.

Our annual Cross Country will be held at Tahuna Park on Friday 31st July (Week Two, Term 3), and the holidays provide the perfect opportunity for students to build their fitness and confidence before race day.

The 40 Hour Challenge Bake Sale is Monday 29th June. A team of Tahuna students have been busy baking all this weekend ready to raise funds for the 40 Hour Challenge - all items are $2 or $3 each.

A massive thank you to Isaac Krammers and Charlie Heller from OPP RUGBY for running an outstanding lunchtime rugby session with our Tamariki today.

The session was packed with energy, learning and plenty of smiles from start to finish. Isaac and Charlie focused on the fundamentals of the game, breaking down catch and pass technique, ball movement, and safe tackle technique in a way that was engaging and easy for our students to understand. Their coaching created a fun environment where every student was encouraged to have a go, ask questions and challenge themselves, while building confidence with the ball in hand and in contact situations.

We're incredibly grateful to Isaac and Charlie for taking the time to invest in our students and help grow rugby within our school community. Opportunities like these are invaluable, and our students thoroughly enjoyed learning from two passionate coaches.

If today's session has inspired your child to keep developing their rugby skills these holidays, OPP Rugby are running their Term Two Rugby Holiday Programme at King's High School. The programme is open to Years 5-8 and is a fantastic opportunity for young players to continue developing their skills, confidence and game understanding in a fun and supportive environment.
