Congratulations to two OP students who received awards at the Startup Dunedin Student Pitch Competition for semester one 👏🤩
Solly Armstrong – in his first year of a Bachelor of Design (Product) - won the Best Product Award for his Base Chalk Bucket, receiving $500 to assist with continuing development 🧗
Meanwhile, second year Bachelor of Culinary Arts student Ashlee Drummy won The Entrepreneur Award for her small home bakery and edible flower growing business, In The Flour Garden 🍰

Dunedin designer and Otago Polytechnic School of Design fashion lecturer Amber Bridgman has had her latest collection showcased recently as part of Fiji Fashion Week! 🇫🇯
Amber’s 20-piece collection was featured in the premiere event Resort Luxe, which showcased Pacific glamour, couture and evening wear from 24 designers 😍
She has her own Māori fashion brand KAHUWAI, and based her latest collection on the paua shell, handmaking jewellery using her traditional carving and weaving skills.
