Introducing our NZ Commonwealth Games 2026 boxers 3 out of 7

Finbar O'sullivan based out of Pacific Boxing Academy in Ōtāhuhu Auckland!

Finbar is competing in the men’s 60kg division, part of the country’s emerging group of international athletes having developed through both domestic and international competition pathways.

He represented New Zealand at the 2024 Youth World Championships, reaching the quarter-finals after progressing through the early rounds of the tournament.

Finbar has also competed across international events including the World Boxing Cup and tournaments in Australia and the United States, building experience against a wide range of opponents.

His development includes national championship performances and selection into international competition squads, reflecting his progression within the Boxing New Zealand system.

Heading into Glasgow 2026, O’Sullivan continues to build experience at elite level as part of New Zealand’s developing boxing cohort.
