Slinging ice cream by the beach side is a pretty sweet gig if you ask me. Not gonna lie!
Here’s a snippet of the closing tasks, the not so fun side 😅 just another part of the job 🍦🥭

3 things I’ve learned as a small business owner of an ice cream trailer 👇🏼

You don’t have to be perfect to start. Just start! I might not have the biggest trailer with endless storage space, (to do dairy free and frozen yogurt and add more menu items) BUT one day I will. And for now, this is ok. It’s something to work towards and in the meantime I’ll do what I can to the best of my ability 🫶🏼

You will have really good days and not so good days. You can’t predict how busy you will be or expect a certain turnover, especially in hospitality. Accounting for those days is important.

Being flexible is a must! Eftpos machine malfunction during a rush? Fully stocked freezers and it pours with rain, or running out of ice cream on a busy day? Power trips and you lose all your stock? Tick, tick and tick 😅
If only nothing went wrong but it’s not reality. You have to work well under pressure and problem solve.

I tried the new… is it new?? Oreo-Cadbury collab flavour…. Oreo Caramilk! 🍦🍪
And I knew I had to add it to the menu 😌
Real Caramilk Oreos blended into our creamy vanilla ice cream topped with the biscuit crumb.
Enough said really.. tastes exactly like it 👌🏼😍

Not a fan of real fruit? We won’t judge 👀
But… we will come up with another option 👏🏼
