Our Auckland team were honoured to join the Summer Vibes Waitangi celebration with Awataha Marae 🤝🏽

A Waitangi day full of connection and collaboration, bringing together organisations, leaders and families from across the North Shore.

Our activation was a hit, bringing laughter and friendly competition with everyone. Thank you to our North Shore community who stopped by.

Yesterday, our Public Health team in Auckland partnered with the talented De La Salle College, Auckland debate team, 2025 Grand Champions at the Model United Nations Assembly Debate Competition, for a youth-led debate on alcohol harm policies and issues affecting our communities.

It was a privilege to witness these exceptional young debaters thinking critically and engaging in such a meaningful, competitive discussion.

Mapu Maia wishes the DLS debate team all the best at the World International Model United Nations Conference in New York, 2026! We know they’ll represent their school, community, and Pacific youth with excellence. 💙

Bula & Happy Fijian Language Week! 🌺

We’re proud to celebrate Macawa ni Vosa Vakaviti, 5th - 11th of October, honouring the beauty of the Fijian language, culture and people.

This year’s theme, “Na noqu vosa: me na tekivu mai vale” - “My language starts at home” reminds us that language is at the heart of identity and community.

Our displays in our offices across Aotearoa are a small way we show love and respect for our Fijian community. ❤️
