Rolled the 🎲 and paid the price…
Gambled starting the race with slicks on a greasy track but unfortunately the misty conditions never lifted and with no wind a dry line never emerged. Pitted at the 10 minute mark once the pit window opened to switch to wets only to have an air jack failure. Game over at that point!

We’re at Hampton Downs this weekend for Round 3 of the North Island Endurance Series.
Great to grab pole this afternoon, but the day hasn’t been without issues with no alternator making the runs in each session very brief. New alternator going in tomorrow then we should be set to jet 👍🏼

🥈 today in the 1 hour.
Had a jet all weekend and set the fastest lap of the race on lap 44, however I started to loose power steering with 8-9 laps to go. Not want you want with the bumps at Pukekohe so had to death grip the wheel to get it home.

Close but no cigar…
Disappointing end to the 1 hour after sitting in P2 with three laps to go. Having nursed the tyres race long the left rear had finally had enough, and upon the final safety car restart I got freight-trained with no drive dropping back to 4th overall and 3rd in GT-B at the flag.
🎥 The highlight of the weekend was the Friday evening qualifying session - Green tyres, cool track, and no traffic 🤌🏼
