The thrilling opening rounds of the Michael Hill International Violin Competition kick off in Queenstown tomorrow! From May 29 to June 1, sixteen of the world's most talented young violinists will deliver recitals across four action-packed days.

We'll be joining them for the competition’s demanding chamber music round, where they'll be required to lead piano quintets. The competitors will collaborate directly with NZTrio, as well as Auckland Philharmonia violist Robert Ashworth on June 3 & 4 at the Auckland Town Hall Concert Chamber.
